1) Revival begins with proclaiming the Word of God! (Jonah 3:1-4) 2) Revival begins with responding to the Word of God! (Jonah 3:5-8) 3) Revival begins with a firm & personal faith that “Salvation Belongs to the LORD!” (Jonah 3:9-10, 2:9)
There is No Joy Away From God’s Presence – Jonah 1
1) You will not find joy away from God’s presence or purpose for your life. 2) God pursues His children with acts of grace called “discipline” for our good & the good of others. 3) God calls us to unashamedly be followers of Jesus in our time and place. 4) Jonah is part of the giant list of Old Testament passages that point to Jesus.
